LINEN DISH BASKET WEAVING WORKSHOP

$85.00

Though products like baskets, brooms and spoons can be easily mass-produced today, there is immense value in ensuring the traditional handmade crafting skills behind them are not lost to time. Practices like basket weaving, broom making and spoon carving represent connections to our past and to the ingenuity of our ancestors who crafted necessary household items from available natural materials.

As part of THE ARTS & CRAFTS MOVEMENT SERIES Stephanie Brown of Rebel Yarn will teach you the ins and outs on how to weave your very own little catch all dish to use at home or give as a special gift.

No experience necessary, although some manual dexterity is required. All tools and materials will be provided so need to bring anything but your creative enthusiasm!

Come join us on Saturday, April 20th from 4 - 6 PM at THE JOINT, 619 Marin Street in Old Town Vallejo.

As always space is limited and we tend to sell out so sign up early before the seats are gone.

Please understand that buying a ticket to an event or workshop is no different than buying a concert, theater, or movie ticket and we are unable to offer refunds. You are of course always welcome to gift your seat to a friend if you cannot make it!
